The Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board Library, established in 1990 with a few collection of books and reports, now has the collection of 10000 Nos. The Library subscribes 69 Nos. of Environmental subject related Periodicals. The library has Video and Audio Cassettes, Charts, Maps, Slides, films and CDs on Environment and Pollution Control.

Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board Library Membership is opened to Scholars and Individuals, NGOs, Industrialists, Professionals and Consultants engaged in environmental aspects.

Other than the Library Members, persons involved in environmental aspects are allowed to refer the Library.School & College Students, Research Scholars, Professors, Professionals, Official from other Government Departments, Industrialists, NGOs engaged in environmental aspects from Tamil nadu used to refer TNPCB Library.
The Library is administered by the Library Committee and Library Purchase Committee Chaired by the Member Secretary.
