The Board has established the laboratories in 3 tier system to assist as followes.

1. Advance Envoirnmental laboratories (3nos)
2. District Envoirnmental laboratories (10nos)
3. Mobile Envoirnmental laboratores (1no)

The Board in the enforcement of the provisions of Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 as amended in 1978 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 as amended in 1987 respectively.
